Judge orders Starbucks to rehire, give backpay to fired Colorado union leader

Alendra 'Len' Harris says she feels validated by the judge's ruling, which she says also backs up the hundreds of similar allegations from other Starbucks workers around the country who have unionized in an effort to get better pay and working conditions.

Should be backpay and a half at least to make it an actual deterrent, but whatever

  I’ve been in a similar position, and can attest to it being something that takes a toll on your energy, mood, and health. The fact that she went to court and is going back is impressive as fuck.
- Some times being the martyr is genuinely useful. She made an achievement, and she isn't obligated to stay afterwards. She could have just moved on without fighting for justice.
- She only has to work one day to get her backpay
We need more unions.

Props to her and all the people fighting for better things. Unions have made some great gains last year.
