There are no mends on his outfit, only holes. His parents (assuming mother) either didn't have time or resources to mend his clothes. Or he didn't have parents.

I've updated the post (from two years ago, sorry) with the result. To do it all again it'd be quicker to go to the press. But my first strategy now is to complain to the FAA. Im no longer 'engaged' at work and would absolutely reach out to the press and risk losing my job if I had to. I understand why people are scared to though.

My goodness! This is a lot for you to have to go through any day of the week, let alone also with depression. You're doing great that you can talk about it, and I hope you have a community and/or friendship group to fill in the void she has created.

Leaving (or even threatening to leave) you out of the will is super messed up, I hope you have siblings/family that would stand up for you, even if only after the fact.

She may have her own mental issues or even past trauma that she's projecting onto her relationship with you and your depression. I dont say that to excuse or justify her, just to acknowledge that you aren't who she thinks you are, your depression isn't what she thinks it is, and your journey is within your control (relatively speaking), not hers.

Regarding the united states: we can't really control it. However, we can control our own 'back yards'. Find one thing, no matter how small, that you dont like and try to fix that in your life or your community. Something obtainable. (Eg, dont like single use plastics bc planet, dont want to pay for reusable bags bc oligarchs...then make reusable bags 🎉 - instructions Its ok to start small. 1000 people doing little things as a start is way better than a nobody doing anything because it 'WoNt MaKe A dIfFeReNcE'

2007 starbucks, AZ. If a customer was an asshole, the worker they were an asshole to would request a restock of the sugar free classic so the Barista on bar could hear. There was no sugar free classic syrup. The drink would be made decaf.

Now I want to share a great caper recipe. This one is definitely greater than the sum of its parts and I didn't think I liked sardines prior to this:

I use the oil from the sardines to make up part of the required olive oil

Pickles a close second. My FIL has an amazing recipe for tuna salad: three ripe avocado, three tins of tuna drained and pressed for minimum moisture, three teaspoon mayo and six small pickles finely chopped. (3 tsp mayo is about 1tbsp, but i wrote it like that so you can adjust to size needed 1:1:1:2)

The number of people dying isn't really the focus; six million+ died in The Holocaust and the pre-oct7 population of Gaza was about two million. By the standard of 'number of deaths' Gaza can never be 'like the holocaust'.

As others have said, tactics used and eradication intention are really what makes this like the holocaust.
