Really? I used to follow /r/worldnews and my experience every time someone posted a US story, even if it seemed world relatable, it was quickly either taken down or downvoted to oblivion with people yelling that there was /r/usnews for that.
I found it a bit off putting, even if it was accurate most of the time.
That's what made /r/anime_titties so great, only non-US or clearly world news allowed

Not a huge fan of the GOP ramping up political violence, even against their own members.

We're far beyond the point of no return on that. They're going to be violent no matter what, so we should celebrate when they target each other instead of, well...literally anyone else.
