Please Congratulate BeardyGrumps on Their Picture of The Year 2023

One of the original POTW's from way back in week 2. Loved the photo then, and love it now! Way to get those fingerprints off the glass to get a clear shot.

Many many thanks! First time I have won a photo competition. Lovely to be a member of such talented people and love this little corner of the internet.
- Absolutely stunning, its always cool to see some creative illusions that blends in so well.
This is such a great photo. I love all the colors and flowing lines/curves. The over saturation really helps with the surreal vibes.
- Well said, I wouldn’t think of the word surreal for a photo typically but that exactly it.
  I’d love to see what was on the screen the bulb is resting on.
  
  Hyperreal might fit better

That's really neat! I wonder what pattern the lights in the floor or ceiling were.
- Was only lit from below. It was a stock image from a duck duck go search - something like neon desktop background.
