I accidentally factory reset a VFD, which has hundreds of configurable options, and only by the grace of potato-quality tech youtubers, I was able to find a small handful of configs to make it work again.
A lovely southern USA gentleman showed me how to rejigger the video cable in my laptop (it had gotten pinched and was flickering intermittently). He also gently chidded the other video showing how to take apart the same laptop for doing it the hard way. The other video was a wonderful descent into cursing.

I owe my thanks to all the indian tutorials on math and algorythms, that were still better at explaining the problem than my proffesor, even though half of the tutorial was in hindy.
This was me today trying to figure out how to set up a dedicated server for Sons of the Forest. Busted mic man blew threw everything but that 6min tutorial was immensely helpful in helping me install everything before I broke my modem by tweaking the static ipv4 settings 👍
