One of the rare times I’ve seen a good quality image of a monowheel. Everything else is either low resolution or the subject was too far away.

None of it works well.
I believe that it controlled the tilt. Notice how his seat is still upright. Modern ones don't do that you have to turn by leaning, which is probably a better system anyway.
It looks more futuristic than the vehicles we drive now:( We let this guy down.
