Weird that 'Holodomor' is considered a 'genocide' but a Nazi seige causing mass starvation is not.
I do not know why this specific fact made to the front page or whether if it has something to do with the seige on Gaza right now and American Government being totally pog with it.
It for the same reason why the Holodomor is considered an anti-Ukrainian genocide in particular whereas Kazakh deaths, despite being much worse proportionally, are rarely brought up.
There's a dividing line here and I can't qWhite make it out
wild guess: there was a law against making fun of genocides (or similar), someone made fun of Russians dying during the siege of Leningrad, some other guy sues him because of said law. Boom, now a judge has to decide whether it was a genocide or not.
Ukronazis love to never shut the fuck up about muh holodorkmore but never talk about Babyn Yar because their ideological and national heroes were the ones with their fingers on the trigger
Here's an old Soviet film on the topic it's filled with survivor testimonials and details of the massacre so for anyone who wants to watch it, it's not for sensitive individuals.
