Tha.means that they trust you enough to not turn what they are watching against them at least. Yes, men tend to be isolated enough that sharing what they like to watch on YouTube requires at least some respect.
- The last video any guy shared with me was about a dude from the early 1900s who got trapped in a cave and died. It was unexpectedly riveting.

- As I guy, I relate strongly. I think that's because of all the ridicule I used to receive for things I liked as a kid. If I share my music playlist with you, that means a lot as well - music is very intimate.
- Dang, that sounds like kind of a bummer of an experience. I share what I'm watching or reading or building with everyone unless I get tentative, uninterested, or just no response, and have picked up some cool recommendations from other people's suggestions I never would've discovered on my own. This is one way I've found to grow friendships from shared interests and move away from ones that are just guilty maintenance or wasting each others' time as interests or responsibilities or availabilities change due to different big life events. The best part is quickly finding out if you like the same kind of humor, which is a big win if you're both into dark comics like Jeselnik or nerd out over Discworld.
