Recently I got trashed camping and dreamt of pissing in a toilet then awoke trying to piss out of my hammock but the stream was sadly, and quite shockingly not

I use them in dreams all the time and they offer me no relief. Then I wake up and go to the "real" one... That's right. I know what's up, machine elves.

Me too. I'll look all over for a bathroom (in my dreams) and they're all either unusably filthy or just don't work.
- I have that too, except not in my dreams, but in literally all public spaces
- I have the same phenomenon, and sometimes really weird intrusions, like - a few days ago I had a dream of working in an office building, and out of nowhere during work, there would be a drawer just filled with piss to pee into for the employees - but of course it never works.
- Or the lid is nailed shut.
- That sounds even more frustrating.
I just have an infinite pee stream but for some reason never recognize that it's a dream. I just get angry that I'm peeing so much

- Evsn when I've recognized dreams for what they are, it hasn't given me much power over them. Just helped me face fears.

Last time I really needed to go and indeed there appeared a toilet and indeed I used it. I woke up half an hour later to find myself compeletly dry in my bed and still needing to go to the toilet. I couldn't believe it either, but I swear I'm not making this up.

i have this like every single week, best part is that at some point while waking up i realize "oh fuck i hope i'm not pissing the bed", then i wake up and go "oh thank christ, not even a drop"

This is how it should work unless you have some sort of sleep condition or aren't in deep sleep (which shouldn't be the case if you're dreaming). You're paralyzed in your sleep, that includes the ability to urinate. The only time you should be concerned about urinating in your dreams is if you have a history of bed-wetting.

That's my inception totem. If my legs start feeling warm I know it's not real.

I was about to a couple of years ago, jolted awake and went straight to the real bathroom. I've never gone from deep sleep to 100% clarity that quickly. If only we could harness that power...

Only happened to me once and woke up before emptying my entire bladder. Nowadays I can piss all I want in my dreams and not wet the bed.

I always use them but it never makes the feeling of having to pee go away lol. Then I wake up and really have to go. Never gone in my sleep thankfully lol.

When I was a kid, the only time I've wet the bed was because of dreams where I'm in a urinal or a toilet.

Kinda requires you knowing you're in a dream.

If anything at all even looks remotely suspicious, pinch your nose so you can't breathe through it. If you can still breathe through it youre dreaming baby, and thats real air passing through your real nose you can feel back in reality!
The trick is to get into the habit of doing it for anything. Strange car you've never seen before? Pinch. You've been gaming for 3 hours when it felt like 15 minutes? Pinch. You see the same girl 3 times in one day? Thats a pinching.

Yup. Had this dream about two months ago while in Vegas with a buddy for a concert, cept it was a urinal, and I was awoken to trying to piss in the corner of the hotel room.

When I was a kid I did the opposite. I would be using the bathroom in real life and would fear that it's a dream/hallucination and I'm actually pissing in the classroom.

I'm in my 40s and I still occasionally get a dream where I'm using the toilet, and that in the dream I'm making sure I'm really awake by looking around the room reading labels on things etc. People say you can't read text in dreams, because it looks mangled and makes no sense. Well, if you believe it makes sense within the logic of the dream - that is, whatever switch in your brain that makes you go from "not sure" to "100% confident" gets flipped - then it matters not what lorem ipsum horseshit is printed in melting calligraphy on the shampoo bottle. My brain yearns for a piss-filled mattress and it will not be dissuaded by my feeble attempts at some sort of dreamworld scientific method.

Also sometimes in the dream I pee in a weird place. Like, someone tells me where the bathroom is and it's just some room without toilets or anything so I just pee in the corner of that room.
- For me it's a toilet in the middle of an otherwise empty bathroom (i.e. not even a sink to wash my hands)
  I usually start peeing a neverending stream until I wake up (I don't pee myself tho, just wake up with an urgent need to pee)

Often dream about hunting for a toilet… then I wake and need to go straight to the loo.

I use them in dreams often and I actually feel better. It's pretty weird. I don't piss myself at all, either.

So, it's not a trap for everyone.

Same thing applies if you have some... erotically pleasing experience. But in that case - just go for it, consequences are always worth it.
