Mixed emotions seeing an anime commercial for anti-psychotic mental health meds.

On the one hand it's kind of like

hey commercials for younger people that aren't made with boomers in mind! But then on the other hand, it's a fucking anime commercial for a debilitating mental health condition.

Why would anti-psychotic meds even have commercials for fuck sakes
- We have literally dozens of medication commercials running at all hours of the day on cable tv.
  
  "Hmm yeah I will tell my neurologist to switch me to the anime drug I saw on FoxNews"
Eh, maybe I'm just desensitized to ads for this sort of thing but I like the ad. Especially because it's an anti-psychotic I've never heard of that sounds kinda interesting. I like seeing things that normalize my mental health conditions and make me feel less weird for having them.
- Yeah that's why like I said I felt mixed on it, on the one hand it's good to show people with mental health struggles as normal but on the other it's ofc an ad from a major pharma company.
"A guy would rather climb back inside his mother and fight giant Earth destroying "angels" before he'll go talk to a therapist about getting a prescription for anti-depression medication"
