My favourite part of the debate was when the moderator pressed Pierre on the indigenous question. That if they refused to allow any pipeline on their land would he respect that and he kept dancing around that question lol

Quebec french is not real french but its own bastardization of the language. Kinda like English is the bastardization of all the prior languages that lead up to it.

Are you going to say that the Swiss dont speak "real" German? Brazilian Portuguese is a bastardized Portuguese? All the different variations of Spanish are not all Spanish?
AFAIK there is no linguistic process called bastardization. French in Québec, or in Canada, is French.

What's the ROC? I know the roc is a mythical bird, but I assume that's not the meaning in this context.
