What was your school's scandal?

Principal got caught got getting a blowjob by his secretary, suspended anyone who talked about it
That same principal was arrested a year later on a domestic violence and drug possession charge; the rumor mill claims he was doing blow off a prostitute when his wife found them, but I can neither confirm nor deny

In middle school, one of my teachers rolled in the TV/VCR cart, popped in a tape, and left the room. It was homemade porn. He was fired, then later arrested on charges of statutory rape of a student. On my first day at that school (the first day it was even open), a kid got stabbed and another went to the hospital for alcohol poisoning and drug overdose. Also, one of the nighttime janitors stole a bunch of computers (Apple II-e's and c's) to try to sell them and got arrested. Another kid with long hair got his hair caught in a drill press in shop class, and it was pretty gory. It was unofficially known as "the last Indian scalped in Arizona". That place was wild. It was shut down years ago due to lack of funding I think. It was on the rez, if that helps explain things.
In high school (not on the rez), we had standard stuff. At least one teacher that I know of was having sex with students, but I don't think she ever got busted. Had a riot over the Rodney King stuff. School shootings weren't in vogue yet, thankfully. We had one kid who all the teachers liked, straight A student, etc. He carjacked some lady at gunpoint one weekend, and the wheel came off while he was speeding away. The car flipped and he died. Oh, and my art teacher tried out for American Gladiators, but dislocated his shoulder during tryouts. Not really a scandal, but we all thought it was funny.

Senior English teacher was having an affair with a student. She disclosed this to another teacher who, herself, was rumored to be at our school because she slept with students in her previous school district. (The second teacher was very friendly with the senior boys.) The second teacher reported the first, and the entire school believed the first teacher got caught giving a blowjob to the boy she was sleeping with. When confronted, the teacher and the boy admitted their relationship to administrators.
I know this because I read it on the report our school principle had written up after a virus took down our school’s network and they accidentally put it back up without all the ‘walls’ in place.

Had a teacher dating a student. It was rumored or so? But they didn’t come out with it til she went to college.

Just about all my classmates one Spring got mononucleosis. For a while, I was one of a handful of people coming to school.

In high school a male teacher, who was also a coach for one of the female sports teams at the school, was caught cheating on his wife with an underaged student who was the babysitter to his kids and was on the sports team.
The school also gave leaving seniors a beer mug as a graduation gift/school memorabilia.
Having grown up, one of my friends who is a teacher says that the district as a whole offers absolutely abysmal pay compared to other districts in the area and is terribly mismanaged. Which is funny because it's still one of the highest testing districts in the state.
- That just means there is corruption in the testing practices.

Senior year. We just got through the half way part. I was in some intro to physics or some type of shop class. My teacher suddenly "retires" and we get a string of random subs. Some stay for a day, some a week until we got a "permanent sub". It was rumored the old teacher got caught getting head from one of the students. We had a few of those types of rumors with teachers but this dude left in the middle of the school year and they had no plan for a replacement. So I'm assuming it's more true than the other rumors at our school.
We weren't even learning whatever the class was after the main teacher left. We slept or did homework from other classes. Sometimes they would put on movies. It's the first time I saw the OG Star Wars actually. We had a lot of time to kill.

I'd say I was, but there were several. Mine was getting arrested for terroristic threats. I had no ill intent but hadn't learned yet that sarcasm doesn't come across in text and never ever use reply all. It was also near the anniversary of Columbine (back when school shootings were a big deal) and the school getting so many bomb threats that teachers learned to keep lessons going during evacuations. Those made the school and police want to come down harder than they probably normally would. I was an honors student and had teachers that stuck up for me, though, so I just wound up with community service during my suspension, anger management courses, and some probation.
The other incidents included one suicide, another girl dead by accidentally getting run over by a slow moving vehicle (iirc drugs were involved and the car was just rolling, not being driven), and one girl that started doing porn.
