- He is. The guy has published an absolutely preposterous number of books and has at least one out this year. They also did a Fear Street netflix series somewhat recently, last year I think.

- Originally I thought it was talking about age. Then I realize there is an entire country that uses the wrong unit.
  
  Its not the wrong unit, we just forgot how to update it and its working well enough. Also bite me I dont want to deal with decimals to know the tempeture on a more accurate level.

What happened in '83?
Ah! I had this goosebumps book! The story was completely unrelated with the cover image
- The cover is related to the story, but I believe this cover was also used for a three book anthology which included other stories in addition to "Say Cheese and Die". The main character acquires a camera that either predicts the future or causes bad things to happen... he takes this picture of his family at a BBQ and then die in a car accident or something.
- I believe this is "Say Cheese and Die"
Next summer is going to be fun if El Nino pattern holds. It would mean that this year with heat domes, forest fires and floods was just the preview and next year is the main event.

The picture comes from the cover of a Goosebumps book, I used to read those when I was a kid, good times.
It's Spring here in Australia and instead of the nice spring weather it's gone straight to summer weather (including fires). We're so fucked
