I was reading the blog post by the casino's tech person and kept thinking to myself, "this is a casino; they may not be the most reliable narrator". That said, CF was also stupid slow on taking down kiwi and stormfront, so they're not great either.
Both of them suck and this whole thing is amusing to me. Hopefully this will serve to improve CF's behaviour.
What resolution do you use it at? How do activate FSR on TV resolutions? I've tried it once or twice but my TV is 4K, and that makes the interface and games on the Deck kinda sluggish.
You could vote for a different party for example
Not in the US you can't. It's basically the same as not voting. You can argue that it's in favour of republicans, even.
You could argue that Putin killed Navalny the moment he sent him to the prison camp.
This looks exactly like that Toothless-dancing meme to me lol
I mean, they have shopping carts with coin-bonds in them, how bad could it be?!
Yeah, that only works if such third party is nearly as large as the republicans, which it isn't. Until then they'll sooner try to appease right wing voters.
Nothing justifies burning kittens alive. Not Even Doom Music.
Who hurt you?
The repo description says it works with existing Redis clients, so probably.
wait, has that been there the whole time or did you edit the image? Didn't know Lemmy could do that.
Won’t work because it doesn’t have the -r flag.
TikTok OBJECTIVELY collects far lesser data than Big Tech apps and services
This is not true for a number of reasons, first being that once the data gets sent to a Chinese server, it's gone. It's like a void. Those "data collections analysis" can speculate, but they truly have no idea what happens with that data. Another reason that TikTok is as bad as Instagram, is that they farmed all the data from the in-app browser. Every click, scroll, everything.
You can argue that they have a different approach to data farming, and they do: they try and rope you in, trick you into giving them your data. But it's demonstrable wrong to say that they collect less data. I wouldn't say they collect more data than typical west social media platforms, but I think it's disingenuous to say they're somehow better.
I've been guilty of this, but do get how it's a bad thing. It's like calling people NPCs.
It’s almost like politics touches on every aspect of the lives we live, from the brick we stand in to the air we breathe.
IIRC it changed its name to the GNOME Web Browser, and it's decent enough. It doesn't have exact feature parity with Safari, but the rendering and web stuff is nice and efficient.

Doubted calling this S01E01, but MAL is calling it a ‘special’.
In de film is de omstreden negenstrepenlijn te zien, waarmee China vrijwel de hele Zuid-Chinese Zee claimt. Dit is tegen het zere been van Vietnam, dat ook een deel van dat gebied claimt.
