Not long after Overwatch 2 released on Steam, we now have Diablo 4 confirmed to be launching on Steam making it easier than ever to play on Steam Deck and desktop Linux.
Another Blizzard game is coming to Steam. I cannot wait until WoW is available so I do not need to use the battle.net client.
Oh, look. I'm alone in saying I didn't buy it before, not buying it on Steam, either. Go suck it, Dibalo IV.
I'm with you! Blizzard has been nothing but disrespectful to the Diablo franchise, original devs and players. Not to mention, buying an online-only game is basically renting it. I'd rather just replay the masterpiece that is Diablo 2, which they will never match.

All you have to do to test this theory out is try a Grand Theft Auto game or just go for Halo. Classic bullshit signing up for shit, having to have a secondary launcher installed. blah blah blah, yadda fucking yadda. Take your friggin' pick. Rockstar, Microsoft, and now Blizzard. Shit's pretty much all bought up, doesn't mean the companies don't act like they always have with their brands.
Overwatch on Steam does not require b.net, so I do not see why it wouldn't be the case with their other titles.
I do agree with having to repurchase. I don't really play D4, so I might just wait for a big sale if I do go with a repurchase.

Pretty much. Pay 70 bucks, no variation in gameplay or enemies, enjoy and restart each season.
Nah. Diablo 3 kind of sucked. I'm pretty sure blizzard has more abuse internally than we've heard of. They don't get my money.

I feel like buy it for $2 would be better than taking it for free. Had a horrible waiter once, and we decided that tipping then $0.02 was more of a fuck you than not tipping them at all
