Due to only 8GB of RAM, the Google Pixel 9a will not have Pixel Screenshots or Call Notes in the Phone app...
"Only 8GB"!? We had 4GB phones only for the longest time and they were fine...
Apparently the always-running chatbot requires a lot of extra memory

Would've been nice to see a RAM spec bump. I have 6GB on my 6a and apps struggle to stay in memory. It's not fun when an app reloads and I lose my progress within it.
@lazycouchpotato @GreenEngineering3475 I want to buy a pixel and get started with #GrapheneOS, I have wondered about 8g of ram. I had been thinking it would be enough because I am not interested in AI features. From your comment I am thinking more than 8g of ram might be an advantage even aside from ai.
