Its European leg of the season, he doesn't do well here.
Crofty took three weeks off. Why Brundle isn't there is something I don't understand.
Session resumed about 15 min ago.
Quite rare to see Alonso crash in practice.
Edit: Session has resumed.
What a fuck you to the aero guy's boss that will be, joining Merc.
>He had been principal aerodynamicist from February 2018 until October 2022 when he moved into his current role.
>The change in aero personnel comes ahead of the earlier-than-expected arrival of two key staff from Ferrari – including the Scuderia’s former chief designer Simone Resta – who had been signed but may have been unavailable until next year.
There are conflicting reports about Sainz and Audi deal:
Sainz has reject Audi's offer for a chance at Redbull or Merc https://www.si.com/fannation/racing/f1briefings/news/f1-rumor-carlos-sainz-declines-audi-contract-lm22
Sainz denys he has reject Audi's offer https://www.crash.net/f1/news/1047739/1/carlos-sainz-insists-no-truth-reports-he-has-turned-down-audi-f1-offer
Audi is a huge gamble at the moment and I won't blame him for not taking it. Accepting Audi's offer means driving that green meme car at the back of the grid in 2025 and hoping that Audi develops a front running car. If he can land at Merc or better yet Red Bull, he remains in the top 5 teams on the grid to challenge for points and odd podium(s) in between
Well that’s kinda where the book ends. I find it odd they want to continue…
" Shōgun has become FX’s most-watched show ever in its first nine weeks in terms of global hours streamed. "
That maybe reason enough for the executives at FX.
What remains to be seen, does the show retain its quality or it becomes GOT season 7 and 8.
'Shōgun' has been renewed for Seasons 2 and 3 at FX on Hulu.
>More “Shōgun” is in the works.
>The hit FX for Hulu series is in development in two more seasons; “Shōgun” was originally announced as a limited series.
>Co-creators, executive producers, and writers Justin Marks and Rachel Kondo would return for Seasons 2 and 3, which FX says are now “likely” to happen, along with executive producer Michaela Clavell and series star and producer Hiroyuki Sanada. Production has not been set as the additional seasons have not yet been ordered — but a writers’ room is being assembled and will begin in the summer.
Stewards need to start giving out drive through penalty for his stunts.

David Benioff, D.B. Weiss, and Alexander Woo are back to helm the mind-bending series.
>All other details are under wraps including the number of seasons and episodes which will be revealed at a later date.
Albon was also a contender for the Audi or Mercedes seat
No way, Audi is looking towards Albon as a contender. Sainz is a better option for both Audi and Merc. Alpine boys(mainly Gasly) are also looking to move, one of them could land at Audi.
Vowels could have helped with his promotion to Merc, but doesn't look like there was much interest from Merc.
If Vowels and Albon bring Williams to top of the midfield and I belive these two are right people for this job. He might get called back to Red Bull to replace Perez in 2026 (maybe), because I don't see another top drive for him in the near future .
Meanwhile, I am happy to see him at Williams with Vowels, hoping he gets a fair chance in a top team.
After the numbers of Peacock game(Dolphins VS Chiefs) was made public, this doesn't surprise me.

Coming in 2025.
Me too, mate. Just popped up in my feed on YouTube, while I was watching Dune 2 Paul's speech to the fremen.

I'm just fed up with the quantum quantum parallel universe BS. Dark Matter looks a little bit more enjoyable at the moment, but definitely in precarious balance
I like the premise of parallel universes (the road not taken), but the pacing of Dark Matter is why I gave up on it. Its just slow to get to the point, no filler just padding the moments to get the episode to a 45-50 min runtime.
>Alex Albon has signed a multi-year contract extension with Williams, which will keep him at the team into Formula 1’s new regulation era when it kicks off in 2026.
>Speaking of the contract extension, Albon said: "I am incredibly happy to be remaining with Williams Racing and to continue working with such a talented and dedicated team of people.
>“This is a long-term project that I really believe in and want to play a key role in which is why I have signed a multi-year contract.
I will take mid writing and that will be a big jump from Season 1.

> Darkness will bind them. The Rings Of Power returns August 29 on Prime Video.
>About The Rings of Power Season 2: Sauron has returned. Cast out by Galadriel, without army or ally, the rising Dark Lord must now rely on his own cunning to rebuild his strength and oversee the creation of the Rings of Power, which will allow him to bind all the peoples of Middle-earth to his sinister will. Building on Season 1’s epic scope and ambition, Season 2 of Amazon’s The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power plunges even its most beloved and vulnerable characters into a rising tide of darkness, challenging each to find their place in a world that is increasingly on the brink of calamity. Elves and dwarves, orcs and men, wizards and Harfoots… as friendships are strained and kingdoms begin to fracture, the forces of good will struggle ever more valiantly to hold on to what matters to them most of all… each other.

He could also be a strong candidate for a one-year stint with Merc until they get Kimi ready for the seat.
There is a perception that he has only raced against weak opponent(s) in Williams(Sargeant and Latifi). A year at Merc will certainly clear the doubts. Vowles could help him get in Merc and year against Russell could raise his stock even more.
I assumed Audi had its eye on him.
He is not young, I don't think he can take a gamble on Audi getting the 2026 regs right and being front of the grid.
Tell him, he doesn't smash my trademark(s) on his book: Gene Haas, probably.

Alex Albon has been non-committal on remaining with Williams long-term, as he suspects movement in the Formula 1 driver market will happen in the coming weeks. The Anglo-Thai driver has rebuilt his reputation since returning to F1 in 2022, scoring all but one of Williams’ 28 points last term a...
