My husband really loves the movie going experience but even he is having a really hard time justifying the amount of money it costs to see a flick in a theater. Theaters are a dying business. Wait until the largest theater conglomerate in the world has its notes come due in 2026, and yes, it is in debt for millions. Analyst predict if it declares bankruptcy it will be forced to close over 150+ theaters in the US alone.
I love going to the theatre. Sitting in a reclining chair, watching this movie I’ve been so excited for on the big screen, and there is just something about movie theatre popcorn that makes it worth the inflated price.
