As I was sitting here yesterday evening it came to me. Musk keeps using these guys because they’re willing to do things these other more experienced people are not. I want to be crystal clear: This isn’t something I’m reporting. I believe it’s just the most logical reading of the available evidence.

Basically, people who are a bit older know that it's not worth committing a crime because their boss said so, but a bunch of interns who don't know better are willing.

- They’re the dumb goons every mob boss has. Young stupid muscle that wants to come up and live dangerously.
  The US is run by the mob now.
  You’re safe if you work for them, paid for protection, are buying their product, or if your criminal enterprise is supporting their claim to power. Everyone else is potential target or victim. Especially if you’re resisting.
  
  A lot of them don't even seem to have any IT/software muscle. I keep reading that they basically have zero experience with a lot of the languages (COBOL), databases, or software that is used in the government. So these people get into the servers and start digging around in code and data that they don't even have a fundamental understanding of and are essentially making shit up about their findings.

  More importantly, I think musk did a background check with a reverse than normal intention. IE guy fired for illegally posting confidential secrets from his previous job... top of the list.
  I don't think he was looking for just young and dumb... he was specifically looking for criminals.
  
  Technically gifted people who destroyed their careers early and that leaves Musk as their only hope. They won't push back because the alternative is being a nobody with a ruined career.
  Doubly so now that their names are tainted by their current work.
- They should be able to see the writing on the wall when WH is denying that Musk has any authority.
  
  If they had any foresight, they wouldn't be in the positions they're in now.
- They see people get pardoned out have charges dropped and they believe they're on the same level as those people.

Also when humans are that young their pfc isn't quite fully developed.

as other people say, these people are throwaways. they are fuelled by passion more than reason.
my additional take is that everybody always blames intern-kun so space nazi knows aggro can't be on him.
