Dual CCDs sucks for gaming, but for productivity tasks I’d really love more cores. A 12 core X3D chip would 100% get me to upgrade from my 5800x3D.
Now I just need it to not cost 1k to get this CPU, a good mobo, and RAM. I swear I will run for president on the single issue of banning Realtek nics.

Ryzen 10800X3D with 12 cores and 24 threads on a single CCD would be nice. Possibly larger X3D cache too since it would have larger surface to accomodate it, but they'll probably stick with 96 megs.
- 11800X3D. Even number are toxic in AMDs eyes.

Besides some specific cases (i.e. encoding, intensive calculations, running 1,000 virtual machines or containers) why would one need so many cores on desktop? I get bigger cache. I'd, as a developer, prefer less and faster ones, plus lower power usage.
