I'm going to take a wild guess and say this bill doesn't do the same for CNC machines despite those being literally how you make actual guns. Fucking NY liberals.

- A Shapeoko is only a few hundred dollars more than a Bambu X1C and it makes functional weapons that don't jam. This does nothing to prevent people making guns in garages.

  "THREE-DIMENSIONAL PRINTER" MEANS A COMPUTER OR COMPUTER-DRIVEN MACHINE OR DEVICE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING A THREE-DIMENSIONAL OBJECT FROM A DIGITAL MODEL.
  A random google search provides the following definition:
  Computer numerical control (CNC) is a manufacturing method that automates the control, movement and precision of machine tools through the use of preprogrammed computer software, which is embedded inside the tools.
  I agree the bill is stupid. It’s equally stupid to make this a conservative vs liberal issue. This is a ruling class vs subservient class issue.
  Stop playing into artificial distinctions designed to fracture the power of the many. Be better.
  
  I'm a communist. This bill is pushed by liberals, specifically the Democrat-flavored liberals rather than the Republican-flavored liberals. Both parties are capitalist and fall under the umbrella of liberalism as it is classically defined, regardless of whatever that term might mean in American discourse.

Many consumer 3D printers, especially well-known ones like RepRap's, or Prusa or Voron, are open-source designs made to be assembled from general-purpose pieces. Many people already make them in this way. Whoever came up with this didn't do a basic background check on the tech...
- The whole thing is fear mongering. The libs genuinely believe you can make a fully automatic AK-47 in .50 caliber ("Just upscale the barrel lol") out of resin.
  
  If you are determined enough, you can make anything. You absolutely can't just download a file and print an AK-47, but anybody who is disgruntled enough can find a way to kill someone.

then having a 3d printer should be an automatic firearm license, yes? of course not because logic don't government
