Once again, every JD Vance story I hear involves him somehow putting down his children or generally being a bad dad. And that's the stuff I hear out of his own mouth.

Am I missing something? This doesn’t sound like he’s shitting on his kid for playing pretend, it sounds like he’s shitting on young trans people by equating a child with gender dysphoria with a child playing pretend.
- I assume he thought it was a clever joke to call his own children "batshit insane" but it kind of sounds like a Freudian slip. After all - he's describing the normal fantasy life little kids have. Plus there's what UlyssesT said.
- He's using his kids to provide a negative example of behavior that he thinks shouldn't be taken seriously.

From watching carpentry YouTube videos, I learned that most 2x4s in north America are lower quality because they're made from younger trees and because they're pine, they're very soft wood. What the people on the videos recommend is taking a 2x10 that's made from stronger wood, cutting two 2x4s from each edge, and then using that to smack JD Vance in the face.

He witnessed these hate spewers go on radio stations and do their hour long lying and hate spewing only to catch them making out on the couch later. Wasn't just isolated incidents either. When confronted they said "don't believe everything you hear on the radio".
