Oregon Elections Division shuts down phone lines after barrage of calls prompted by false claims
The Oregon Secretary of State Elections Division shut down its phone lines following a barrage of calls from people responding to false claims that the state’s voters pamphlet does not include Republican nominee Donald Trump.
It's true he's not in the pamphlet by his own design.
It's not true that there's a statement why.

We got our ballots in the mail today, I can confirm Donald J. Trump is very much printed on there as the Republican candidate for U.S. President.

How hard would it have been to print:
This candidate declined to provide a summary for the Oregon Voter Pamphlet.
14 2 ReplyBecause that's what a candidate not having a statement has always meant, and it's never been a problem before.
edit: Also if you look at the post by jordanlund the page that lists the candidates shows an asterisk by the people that didn't supply a statement.
16 0 ReplyThe problem is you forgot to account for bad faith actors and their army of idiots.
