it just hard to convert it to fiat, even decentralized excahnge right now have limited option like haveno and localmonero is down.. could anyone give tips on how to convert xmr to fiat? preperably no kyc, but if there is kyc its fine also
May I suggest that you don't convert to fiat and instead buy either gift cards and debit cards or buy items directly with Monero? This avoids all the KYC issues with offramps and helps the Monero economy. If you need the cash in hand, then buy a gift card for something you normally pay with fiat (e.g. amazon, gas, phone, vpn, etc) and then use the money you would have spent on those items or bills for whatever you need the cash for.
My issue with Haveno:
I get warning: ‘We did not receive a filter object from the seed nodes. Please inform the network administrators to register a filter object.’
And the message at the bottom right of the app: ‘No seed nodes available’
This is a conundrum. If you really need fiat and the options recommended by the other folks aren't feasible, XMR->BCH->CEX has worked for me in the past. Granted, I wouldn't say I like doing it that way. XMRBazaar is an excellent choice, and seeing more sellers/buyers would be great. Gift cards, too. Sometimes, you've just got to pay your bills, brother.
Swap your Monero to a currency using a decentralized exchange or something like Trade Ogre or StealthEX, then sell on whatever exchange you have access to. Ideally if you want to go the KYC route (don't support KYC businesses if you can) then use an exchange like Kraken or anyone who still offers Monero just to support the ecosystem & keep them around.
Gift cards from Coin Cards or Cake Pay are great options as well. Also just see if you can pay people in XMR, I've ended up being able to pay so many people online for such random things in XMR with a bit of convincing, obviously in person people will just want cash. Crypto really is online money first. Great for long-distance transfers & storing value in a fully self-sovereign way.
Hi fren. I offer you a bit longer way, but much easier. You can go to sites, like https://exolix.com/, swap your Monero to USDT without any registration or KYC. Then you can exchange USDt to fiat with any affordable option (there are a lot of them, depending on a country you live in). That's all, you don't loose any money and withdraw without issues. I can provide more sites like Exolix, just don't wanna provide a lot of links in one post
That's really written there, but I've never faced such an issue. As i know this stuff is written in every similar site. they should check "dirty" funds. But Monero is not dirty in the source, so there is nothing to worry about
