It's good. His older stuff is "more friendly" or whatever, but I still enjoyed it. After his rehab stint, he has been more like this. His kids shows are goodish, but a different flavor than roasting tech bros.
I love Mulaney but I couldn’t get into that post rehab special. His energy was just really different, it just wasn’t as dynamic and energetic as his older stuff (which is totally understandable), but I never finished it so maybe I’m full of shit
After spending ~15 minutes searching 5 different search engines the only clip of the event I found was a 39 second clip posted on tiktok by an attendee that had nothing to do with the roasting part.
