Local police officer Brad Jenkins vocally expressed concern that illegal immigrants were in town eating all of the neighborhood dogs he was already planning on shooting.

Headline reminds me of the Uvalde cops trying to stop the mom from going in to rescue her kids while they sat scared,
"Ma'am, ma'am! Leave them alone so I can not go in to rescue them, ma'am!!!"
Uvalde was certainly a clusterfuck, but the "cops scared" narrative isn't quite the truth, much more to it.
