Korea lost net neutrality a few years ago sadly.
Thats the equivalent of a "preemptive peacekeeping" mission. I'd have thought we'd see the UK be the first to something along these lines. 🙄

The police believe that the motive behind this hacking was to reduce network-related costs, as torrent transfers can be costly for internet service providers. KT, however, claims that it was merely trying to manage traffic on its network to ensure a smooth user experience.

How? Torrents are checksumed by design.
- Skimming the article, it appears they attacked a particular client that is popular in Korea.
- Mitm a website and inject browser exploits? Scanning IP addresses they see downloading? A news article leaving out the vital parts is nothing new though m
