USMC Lt. Gen. James Glynn, dispatched by Pentagon to advise Israel on risks inherent in an invasion of Gaza Strip, has returned to the US.
“Make no mistake: what is, has or will unfold in Gaza is purely an Israeli decision.” -USMC commandant Gen. Eric Smith told reporters.

- This reminds me of US generals whenever they indirectly admit that their allies/vassals committed warcrimes in front of them.

- I keep trying to bring attention to this although it is uncertain if it is true. The Middle East Eye reported that Israel, with the help of the US Delta Force, has planned to flood the Hamas tunnels with a nerve agent - a chemical weapon.
  There were recent rumours circulating on X that Palestinians have spotted Delta Force near the coast.
  
  It seems unlikely, but clearing the tunnels, on top of urban warfare, will be a nightmare for all involved. If their bunker busters are ineffective, they'll have to go in on foot. Would any of us seriously put it past the idf to resort to poison gas at that point? And who would be able to prove anything if they did use it?
