dw lil homie u got all the rizz in the world
idk man when I see my pup I feel inclined to write dumb shit like that too.
Look at my little baby just living her best life. Look at how smol she's being.
Oh that's why you were asking about the toaster's face! đ
I'm sorry to hear :(
I hope your baby is doing okay today. Give them lots of hugs for us!
To be honest I was a little on the fence about the tennis balls that were advertised as safe, but they seem to be okay for now.
I think one thing which needs to be considered is that a tennis ball can have a really nasty wear pattern across many of their teeth, making it super easy for nerves to get irritated with enough time.
I've not seen a dog carry rocks in their mouth very often but I don't deny it happens. Wood from twigs is generally softer than enamel, I don't think of that as much of a risk.
My dog absolutely loves tennis balls. She will walk around with the ball in her mouth all day if she could. Nylon can really wear out enamel so I get her special tennis balls like this one.
Out of curiosity, how does dwl compare to dwm today?
Not sure who's pup this is, but I gather that nylon used in regular tennis balls can wear away at teeth over time. Please be careful with ur teeth, pup friends :(
Hey there,
This is an extremely minor quirk with how the image lightbox (apologies if I'm using web specific terms) behaves when a post image is selected from the feed and put into full screen mode.
On devices with on-screen nav and expanded status bar areas (camera hole design concession), the lightbox will show end to end with the UI controls overlayed.
If you tap once on the image to hide the UI elements, the status bar area is filled, whereas the nav area still shows as expected, though the image appears to resize slightly in response to the change in viewport. Wondering if this was intentional?

Truly the most P4 item I could think of but was curious.

I think you'd be incorrect but I'm glad to see focus on other ISAs nonetheless.
I'm not sure the power efficiency argument in favour of RISC really holds up today; Lunar lake has demonstrated that x86 can achieve stellar perf / watt at lower power envelopes. It doesn't quite meet apple (testimony to their own proficiency though they benefit from vertical integration) but comfortably pulls ahead of Qualcomm in this regard.
But being able to use your desktop software on any target, regardless of ISA or OS? Sign me the fuck up.
denender will suffice but the best protection is common sense. If for whatever reason you find yourself needing to interact with sus files there are ways to do so safely in a contained environment
Wait bright ones is Kent? What kind of shit is that?
Sincerely,
Someone from Kent.
I've been using the nightly releases for element X android for some time.
Sliding sync means messages are fetched quite a bit quicker, though it's not yet feature complete relative to regular element android.
I've not yet tested element call on EXA, however, but it's worked very nicely for me via web.
Element X for android / iOS or is there a standalone app for element call?
Ah yeah, I'm not getting any response from https://archive.ph/ right now :/
E: got it working again after several attempts. Posting raw text

Snapchat is reserving the right to put its usersâ faces in ads, according to terms of service related to its âMy Selfieâ tool (formerly âAI Selfiesâ), which allows users and their friends to create AI-generated images trained on their selfies. Users have the option to opt out of this by toggling off a âfeatureâ in the app called âSee My Selfie in Ads,â but according to 404 Mediaâs testing this feature is on by default.
âMy Selfie is used to power Generative AI, Cameos and other experiences on Snapchat that feature you, including ads,â a pop up in the Snapchat app says. âMy Selfie uses your images and information to do this.â
A support page on the Snapchat website titled âWhat is My Selfie?â explains further: âYouâll take selfies with your Snap camera or select images from your camera roll. These images will be used to understand what you look like to enable you, Snap and your friends to generate novel images of you. If youâre uploading images from the camera roll, only add images of yourself,â Snapchatâs site says. âAfter you've successfully onboarded, you may have access to some features powered by My Selfie, like Cameos stickers and AI Snaps. We are constantly adding features and functionality so stay tuned for more My Selfie features.â
After seeing the popup, I searched for instances of people getting ads featuring their own face on Snapchat, and found this thread on the r/Privacy Reddit community where a user claimed exactly this happened to them. In an email to 404 Media, Snapchat said that it couldnât confirm or deny whether this user was served an ad featuring their face, but if they did, the ad was not using My Selfie images. Snapchat also said that it investigated the claim in the Reddit thread and that the advertiser, yourdreamdegree.com, has a history of advertising on Snapchat and that Snapchat believes the ad in question does not violate any of its policies.
âThe photo that was used in the advertisement is clearly AI, however, it is very clearly me,â the Reddit user said. âIt has my face, my hair, the clothing I wear, and even has my lamp & part of a painting on my wall in the background. I have no idea how they got photos of me to be able to generate this ad.â
(The Reddit user did not respond to a request for comment. yourdreamdegree.com did not respond to a request for comment.)
âYou are correct that our terms do reserve the right, in the future, to offer advertising based on My Selfies in which a Snapchatter can see themselves in a generated image delivered to them,â a Snapchat spokesperson said. âAs explained in the onboarding modal, Snapchatters have full control over this, and can turn this on and off in My Selfie Settings at any time.â
Snapchat emphasized that âAdvertisers do not have access to Snapchattersâ Gen AI data in any capacity, including My Selfies. Nor do they have access to Snapchattersâ private data, including Memories, that would enable them to create an AI generated image of an individual Snapchatter.â
However, the company did not answer questions about how it could in the future serve ads featuring a userâs face without providing that data to advertisers. Instead, it replied that âSnap currently does not use My Selfies in advertising,â and that âthe terms you cited simply reserve the right.â
Very true, just thinking about a terminal platform here, and just fully sending it off, but regular vermeer is no slouch either, and will serve well for many years to come (along with a shiny new gpu)
I haven't played GTA 5 or online in a good few years now, but I'm curious, does this affect popular mods like fivem in any way?
E: TIL fivem was acquired by rockstar đ¤Ą
You could chuck a 57 or 5800X3D up in there for a substantial boost if your board vendor offers BIOS support.
E: fixed in 0.0.75 - thank you MV :)
Hey there,
I was wondering if anybody else was experiencing this behavior where the swipe to navigate back gesture would register twice within the app, taking you back two steps instead of just one.
I'm not sure exactly when this behaviour was introduced, though it persists with today's .72 alpha release. I was to say it came about in the .6X timeframe.
I've not found this reported on the github, though I just wanted to check that this isn't a system specific issue before submitting. #1399 may be relevant as it refers to swipe input sensitivity but I think that's more of a gesture threshold matter than input registering twice in the app.
My app settings are attached in a photo:
and I have a short clip:

Steps to reproduce:
- Using the provided gesture settings in Jerboa
- From the home feed, tap into a community name
- From the community view, tap into a community post
- Swipe left to navigate back to the community view
- Observe two steps back in response to a single input

You might semi supinate your deadlift grip (one hand over, one under) for comfort & endurance at heavier weights. I believe some competitions even mandate this for safety reasons.
Those of you who semi grip, do you ever alternate? If so, have you identified any benefits in doing so?
A friend brought this up with me a couple months ago. It was a reasonable ask, and yet I've never thought to switch hands. I try to only use a semi grip when necessary (heavier sets, fewer reps).
I've recently started experimenting with switching it around for a few higher volume sets. Is there any benefit from switching long term, or session to session?
