Ein paar, die auf die Beschreibung ganz gut passen:

Ich habe jeweils nur die englische Version der Bücher gelesen, kann die Übersetzungen also nicht beurteilen.

I have one of these apps, and they really helped. I taped a QR code to my bathroom door and set the alarm to give me 1min to scan it, which is about the time I need to get up and zombie-walk over there. I thought I would eventually just cheat my way around it, but there really aren't all that many QR codes laying around at my place, and force-killing the app is a bigger hassle than stopping the alarm the regular way. So it stuck, and I'm pretty happy with it.

Mein Argument bezog sich aber auf die ehemalige Teilung Deutschlands, die sich hier in meinen Augen auch zeigt.

Wo sage ich denn, dass das neue Bundesländer sind? Es kann durchaus mehrere und regional verschiedene Gründe geben, warum in bestimmten Regionen weniger Großunternehmen ihren Sitz haben. Bevölkerungsdichte ist sicherlich einer, aber eben für manche Regionen nicht der Einzige.

Ja, aber selbst wenn die Dichte von (Groß-) Unternehmen proportional zur Bevölkerungsdichte ist, würde man vielleicht 1-2 Unternehmen in irgendeinem der neuen Bundesländer erwarten. Man sieht an der Karte in meinen Augen genauso die Spuren der deutschen Teilung und Wiedervereinigung (siehe auch Carl Zeiss in BaWü, Sitz vor der Teilung war Jena).

Christian "Feiertage abschaffen" Dürr müsste doch gerade ein Problem mit solchen Temperaturen haben. Würde mich mal interessieren, wie sich Extremwetterlagen auf die Wirtschaft auswirken.

I never met anyone in real life who said the stuff shown in this meme. The handful of comments here are few and far between.

Spent two weeks debloating

The folks who care enough to debloat are either already on Linux or would spend maybe 1-2h to make a few fixes, before they get something they are okay with.

Just install Linux

For those who stick with Windows, it's often more than "just switching". They may need certain software, they may not be tech-savvy, they may be insecure about whether they could handle the occasional hiccup on a system that is completely new to them. All valid reasons for hesitation, and "just switch" is about as helpful as "just cheer up".

Because learning Linux would take time.

I've used Linux for 15 years now, and I'm still constantly learning new things. Linux is so much more usable now than it ever was, and I also think more people should switch. But suggesting that you "learn Linux" in two weeks' time is just silly and dishonest IMO.

I wish we as a community could stop with this sense of superiority and actually acknowledge people's humane struggles to help them make the move.

Maybe it would help if you had a heart-to-heart about why this is bothering you and (together) make a plan to tackle this. From your description, it seems like the occasional margarita is not really the issue but it's the inconvenience to the staff, the embarrassment to you, and the costs that come with the dishes she orders. It might help to look at the menu online beforehand and decide on what you're getting in advance. You could even pick out two dishes together, and you could share a few bites, if you're okay with that. Her behavior seems to be at least a little compulsive, which is hard to get rid of but can be overcome with some practice.
