  • My favorite thing about Adam’s videos is the way they are edited, they leave in some silence so you can see Adam’s head gears working as he’s solving a problem. It sorta feels like we’re solving the problem with him.

  • Has anyone found a bluetooth carplay adapter that actually survives?
  • If you’re willing to shop on Amazon (I use Amazon only if I have to) they have a wireless CarPlay adapter that work pretty flawlessly I got mine for $100. All the steering wheel control works in my car (2017 Audi A3). There is an audio delay while watching videos but I believe that’s with all wireless CarPlay applications. I’ll link to the exact one I got. However they have one that says “upgrade” for cheaper but I do not have that one so I can’t say if it’s any better.

(TLDR) The adapter linked works just like plugging in regular CarPlay.

    (Edit) a few added details

  • I prefer to buy video games without knowing anything about them
  • Don’t know how much you want me to say about the choices so I’ll spoiler it out. It’s about how the choices are presented I won’t say anything of what the choices are.

    Tap for spoiler

If there are BIG choices you will know, the screen gets blurry and shakes a little bit. Some other choices just say “This action will have consequences” which will make a pretty badass tattoo.

The next section will say the core game mechanic I did not know of going into the game

    Tap for spoiler

I did not know the game had a time travel mechanic. It blew my mind that you could change some choices

It is a very good game. And I highly recommend it to anyone who plays games for the story. Also the prequel “Before the Storm” is also really good and I cried more playing that game knowing what happens in the first game.

  • I saw a meme on R*ddit and it was a screenshot of Life is Strange showing a choice between bacon and eggs or pancakes (it’s been a while idk) and I thought that it would be funny to make those random choices. I bought know just that choice. I played the game and cried multiple times during play, it was such a good story. Ever since then I play most games without seeing any gameplay hoping to recapture that feeling of discovery.

  • Real life Pip Boy
  • Yes I can “SatansMaggotyCumFart”

Our building had bay doors lined up on one side of the building, it was the off season so we would only use the first quarter of bay doors. At the end of line of garage doors we would use the last 1-3 bays as a sort of “overflow” (I was only there for a few months so I didn’t fully know what they were for.)

We would call it the “abyss” because no one went back there, and there were a few lights out so it was kinda dark. I mostly worked there, when it was a heavy day and the belts were pretty full they would send all packages to the abyss and we would get so back up with packages it worked jam halfway up the shoot to the trailer. So we would have to get a ladder and a stick to fix the jam.

We would sometimes solve the jamming issue by spraying lube on the shoots to help them slide better. It would make the shoots very slick if you tried to walk on them. Also we had fans blowing air into the trailer and if it was a very hot day they would just blew already hot air into a hotter trailer.

  • Is this Seagate Exos drive too good to be true?

I found this its the cheapest 10TB Exos drive on Newegg and looking to buy 4 of them. I will be putting them in my NAS that I use for my media library and pc backups. The price I’m posting this is $130, I’m also looking similar Exos drives that are $250 is there a difference? Should I shell up for the more expensive drives?

What are your thoughts on fiber through the city?

After 16 years of living in my city, they will finally have city-wide fiber internet. I’m pretty stoked because the fastest internet I could possibly have is a WISP at 50gbps down and 10gbps up. Now I will finally have gigabit but it’s through the city, and I’m wondering if they will be more strict on illegal content download given a possible VPN leak. I know this is highly subjective but I want to understand all the possibilities what could happen.

    Distro Recommendations From Manjaro
  • Nobara Linux (also aimed for gamers) has similar btrfs snapshots though not as intuitive and it’s not enabled by default also it’s based on Fedora. I have the KDE flavor as my main OS but I’ve never used the snapshot feature yet.

  • [SOLVED] Having trouble connecting Radarr to SABnzbd. "Connection refused"

Running Truecharts Radarr on TrueNAS SCALE. Giving me this error.

Test was aborted due to an error: Unable to connect to SABnzbd, Connection refused (localhost:8080)

I've tried enabling https in SAB, enabling SSL in both Radarr and SAB, I've also tried switching certification validation in Radarr.

    TrueNAS Version: TrueNAS-SCALE-22.12.2

    Radarr Version: 4.6.4.7568_16.0.22

    SABnzbd Version: 4.0.3 [9fafe64]

EDIT: GOT IT WORKING. I had SABnzbd running on my computer while I was trying to connect to my server, so I probably had to do some weird network rework to get that setup working but that is out of my skill range. THE FIX: All I did was install SABnzbd onto TrueNAS using Truecharts

What should I look for when I’m choosing an instance?

I have accounts on three instances but I’m unsure which one should be my main account.
