Apple has a memory problem and we're all paying for it
  • It's called Mac OS and is actually a version of UNIX heavily modified by Apple. Linux is basically a copy of UNIX. Mac OS does not have a registry. Mac OS and Windows couldn't be more different. OSX (the X stands for 10) was the versions of Mac OS that had 10 as the major version number that ended with Catalina.

  • Birthday dinner on Cape Cod

    We bought a pound of lobster meat from the local fishmonger for $68 and made lobster rolls for dinner. Some local strawberries and a nice wine rounded it out. We saved at least 50% not buying them pre-made at the clam shack.

    Our night blooming Cereus gave is a 4th of July display

    It starts blooming when it gets dark out. Only one 8" bloom last night, we have had as many as six blooms at once. You know it has started because it fills the house with a wonderful fragrance. It is dead by morning.
