Also consider that Instagram uses aggressive image compression and then you import from that to Pixelfed, which also does its own compression. No wonder the quality is questionable.

Not natively in Pixelfed.

This is a setting by the admin of that Pixelfed instance. Try another instance, if you are unhappy with the quality.

I’ve never really been into alts. Alts are just a tool for my main character. In Guild Wars 2, I only have alts because I have to. In sPVP achievements, you need to win matches with 3 different classes.

Also, the difference between ascended and exotic is so small that I don’t think the hassle is worth it.

Focus on legendary, which can be shared among all your characters.

What's great about this game, imho, is that you can be gone for a while, but still get right into the action again, because your characters value doesn't depreciate, like in other MMO's.

I am sometimes gone from GW2 for a long time, but I usually just continue from where I left off, because the content is still relevant.

You can disable P2P.

You will only see content from other instances, if your instance federates with them.

However, some instances allow “global search”, which means you can practically find everything through search, from all the other instances.

It’s also possible to subscribe to channels from other instances, even though your instance does not federate with said instance.

If you go to the About > Network page, you can see which instances is federated with yours.

Can’t find the answer via a search engine though. You first have to find out where to look for the answer, before you can ask it.
