What is your weekly routine like?
  • I don’t know your life situation OP, but my wife and I have found it very helpful to designate one night of the week as our “weekly meeting.” After the kids go to bed, we spend some time together, catching up on the previous week and talking about next week. We also meal plan and make a grocery list. And both of us usually have a few things written down that we want to discuss, like upcoming trips, major expenses, etc.

It’s really nice to have Thursday nights as a time set aside just for the two of us to focus on each other and all the little things you forget about during the week. YMMV, of course.

  • I’m a geriatric millennial, and the fact that they have a playlist called “millennial punk” made me so angry. And then I looked at the full playlist and saw that there’s Bloodhound Gang and Jet on there and I got even angrier.

  • If they loved rpgs as much as you, they'd find a way
  • Another benefit to remote Foundry games: you can stop at any time and the board/scene does not change. Hit a hard stop time in the middle of combat? Who cares! The turn tracker will stay right where it’s at until next week.

Looking forward to the same bullshit on Lemmy I enjoyed on Reddit: D&D memes, programming, college basketball (Rock Chalk) and video games.
