A lot of trots have improved, but easily 30% will still argue this.
Bandwagoners might be annoying but they just prove how much we're winning.
He has to know there's no way any of this will happen, but he has to keep making demands so that after the loss he can blame western allies for not helping enough. Washington and Europe will blame the Ukrainians and inferior Slavic ways and etc., this is about establishing a counter-narrative.
Netanyahu’s government has resolved to replace them with other laborers who can be exploited – a massive proposed influx from countries like India and Sri Lanka.
They think they will have people from other places simply volunteering to be paid like Palestinians and also treated like Palestinians? Does not seem like a plan that can work.
Learning French gets you many points towards Canadian permanent residency
Very excited for this upcoming Adam Curtis film.
The protesters are actually more willing to fight cops than they are willing to look "unreasonable" by saying no to these weak proposals aimed at delay.
A fair number probably are Americans

By issuing warrants, you would be calling into question the legitimacy of Israel's laws, legal system, and democratic form of government.

I mean think about it, that has to easily be like 40 wks FTE of work, at say $500/hr, plus OT, weekend rate, overnight rate, travel, not to even mention all the equipment. That all must have easily cost $1M. And who has that kind of money? Russia. China. Soros. It all makes sense.
Abstract concepts like "delegitimization" aren't the main driving force, but there is a dialectical role that it plays. The US can't dominate exclusively by force, and the more it has to rely on force the weaker it finds itself. Larger and relatively stronger allies (regional-scale powers) aren't easily threatened and are increasingly following their own agendas instead of deferring to Washington. And in some cases, the US is so hated by the local population that allying too closely would risk a popular revolt, and those states can't remain in power exclusively by force either.
Not even sure which massive infrastructure disaster because of lack of safety protocols you're referring to
I would have simply kept walking and not attempt to break into the bunker-house, but that's just me.
Any idea who this is aimed at? AOC maybe?
It's quiet working, need more artificial enthusiasm
Just pick something that's too abstract to measure, like mentorship or community building or safety awareness
Houthi-claimed missile attack on Greek-operated, Barbados-flagged ship kills three sailors off the coast of Yemen.
Sad to see random sailors get killed, but regardless still have to hand it to the Houthis for an extremely successful ongoing campaign. Shipping volumes passing through are down dramatically, and alternate routes are adding a lot of delay and expense. It's costing Egypt a lot of money in lost transit tolls as well. And shipping was in a less-than-ideal state to begin with, due to the Panama canal drought and issues with shipbuilding.
Insurance rates were already keeping most higher value cargo out, it's currently mostly bulk goods, crude oil, and some refined petroleum products still transiting; that's why we never hear about container ships being hit, they were generally the first to leave.
This attack will further increase insurance rates and further increase pressure on the west to "do something" but other than a ceasefire they don't have a lot of good options.
