Sad article. I think it really has a lot to do with how men a raised - especially that parents and peers "tell" boys to suppress their negative emotions. The only permitted male emotion was anger, but anger does not jive with out modern society. And at least for me, even with parents sporting my emotional expressions - it took long time and a predominantly female social circle to be able to really access my feelings.

Good example, him "acting" bad guys kind of even gets an extra layer of morbid interest to the film. But I would totally understand other actors not wanting to work with him anymore. Have no idea who the other guys are.

I grew up atheistic and never really had any negative experiences with religion. Nevertheless I'm rather strictly against organized religion while not opposed to individual spirituality what so ever (as long as it's not forced on other).
