I'm going to disagree slightly. I enjoyed Doom Eternal. It's a fun shooter, but I had to pretend it wasn't Doom. Sort of like Doom 3. It was a fun game but it's not Doom.
Edit: ... and I just looked at the age of this thread. Oh well...
Right, forgot about the moons. I managed to confuse new and original doom in my mind. IIRC the humans didn't even invent the teleporters. They were already there.
I'd hate to be the first human.. in the original game there are dead people all over the place and the evil humans you do see are posessed.
Oh yeah, completely agree as long as it's done by the car with no telemetry or anything. When it comes to features like this my big worry is always privacy. The safety is a good thing.
My car turns off cruise control if you look away from the road for any length of time.
Yup, all true, but even then Saskatchewan largely voted PC federally. Very strange political mix.
The highest speed limit in the USA is 137kph or 85mph. 148 is not a lot higher, and people tend to be stupid.
My car had a recall on it for braking too much. Probably a software issue that can be fixed, or has been fixed in newer models.
It is relatively easy. My 2019 Mazda3 does this already when cruise control is on. Its front manufacturer logo is a radar device, and there are a few more on the car. Making it full-time should be easy enough.
"You boo me, and I go home and sleep comfortably in my bed surrounded by many beautiful women on large piles of money."
That'd be an easy one for him. He'd prefer the team furthest from Toronto and Montreal.
No, Saskatchewan also doesn't exist. We get very little from the feds, for two reasons:
- We never vote Liberal, so they do little to earn our vote.
- We always seem to vote Conservative, so they do little to earn our vote.
When good things happen it's because of a unicorn like Ralph Goodale. The NDP could have a fighting chance for a few seats here, but they need to actually campaign and realise that they're #2 in nearly every riding in the province.
The deep sea has always been the home of nightmare fuel. Not outer space.
Or similarly, "not habitable, but it could have been". Subtle difference between the two.
I don't miss the noise. Still haven't found a smallish (by today's standards -- 17-21") flat panel that has the same picture quality as the best CRTs, though.
There have been a few of these. Like the TMNT collection. Does anybody know if this is arcade emulation plus the original games, or did they also do other work?
The ADL confirms, your comment is anti-semitic.
There's a fairly inactive community for Saskatoon: !saskatoon@lemmy.ca
Hopefully putting it here gets it more visibility.
Edit: Since we don't really hate each other, even if we pretend to, I'll also point out Regina's community: !regina@lemmy.ca
Sounds like a lovely character....
The government walked away from the table today. The STF announced new sanctions, including withdrawing noon supervision.
