if you really think so then you should start HRT and claim some femininity for yourself. Or just become a femboy. Or both.
I have been making buildings alternating logistics floors with production floors, and yeah it’s pretty nice to have belts up against the ceiling of the logistics floor so I can actually walk around and build.
That was such a good scene, that’s what hooked me
This basically the setup for Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead. It’s an anime where a guy has his soul drained by an awful company and when there’s a zombie apocalypse, his first reaction is to break into the corner shop and get some beer and have a day off. It’s a fantastic series about living life to the fullest, and the art is so great: it’s incredibly colorful, as opposed to most super-desaturated apocalypse media.
I started in the Northern Forest, and took my time building up some factories to deal with all those pure iron nodes, and I’m just about to finish tier four. Has anyone been blazing a trail through the tiers? I’m curious what tier most folks are on.
I’d love to see what y’all have got so far, could I get a join URL?
I usually flip back and forth between my left and right side. The air tube has plenty of slack and there’s a hinge and pivot where it meets the mask so it moves around pretty easily.
I got a machine from my doctor
“Host” fucked me up and is the reason I don’t watch horror movies anymore. I’m a huge baby though.
The YouTube channel “Tasting History” has a video on this. If you’re interested in the history of food, that channel is fantastic.
I keep all my genders and related information in KeePronounXC, which stores my pronouns in an encrypted format locally. It also lets me generate new, complex genders so I can use a unique one per relationship.
I’m proud of you. Linux Mint was my first daily-driver distro and it’s still one I’d recommend to newcomers. I hope you have a great time with it!
Treating my sleep apnea, and also getting adderall
This picture is inaccurate, Pluto is actually much farther away.
He’s the sweetest cat I’ve ever met. He loves to snuggle with me and he follows me around my apartment wherever I go. And he loves pets and belly rubs.
I spent $25 to adopt my cat from my local humane society and now he’s my best friend in the whole world.
I love that area. Those labs are some of the coolest environment designs I’ve seen in a game. It takes a while to get to unlock the area though so it’s a shame that new players don’t get to see it early.
I love finding similarities like these, and the one you mentioned about teletype is a new but really cool interpretation to me. Though I tend to view things more mechanically than naturally; I love playing factory games like Factorio and Satisfactory. I guess the natural metaphor I use most is the human body, which is a really complex system with lots of interacting subsystems. I forgot the name of the book & author but a medical doctor wrote a book on complex systems and said that any sufficiently complex system, like the human body, is always dealing with some degree of failure, so any artificial system needs to be fault-tolerant at many levels to continue functioning properly.

Take some time to appreciate the amazing writing and voice work in Warframe by taking a nice fifteen-minute bath in Albrecht Entrati’s monologue
Satisfactory is a first-person open-world factory building game with a dash of exploration and combat. Play alone or with friends, explore an alien planet, create multi-story factories, and enter conveyor belt heaven!

I started a server with some friends and I pretty quickly realized I’d prefer to have my own spaghetti than work on someone else’s, so I ran off. Do you prefer working closely with people or do you have more fun making factories in far-off lands?
It almost sounds like I’m defeating the purpose of multiplayer, but there’s a whole map we can build on! And I’m sure my friends appreciate when I send them truckloads of plastic and rubber from the coast while they were working on space elevator stuff in the fields.
I made a little web app that uses the AniList API to fetch the birthdays of your favorite characters. No MyAnimeList support.
I’ve been reading David Wondrich’s Punch and I’m in love with the whole idea of punches. Getting a bunch of people together around a big bowl of something tasty and drinking the night away sounds so fun. It also sounds nice to be able to prepare a great drink for everyone without having to spend too much of my time away from my guests shaking up individual drinks.
I’ve mixed up a few batches of Philadelphia Fish House Punch and it’s now one of my favorite drinks. Does anyone here have a favorite punch recipe?
P.S. If you haven’t read Punch or Imbibe!, I wholeheartedly recommend them. David Wondrich is a really fun writer and cocktail history is a really interesting subject (to me, at least).
Does anyone else think that Elixir could be really well-suited to writing fediverse applications? I'm really tempted to try my hand at writing an alternative Lemmy backend. If anyone is feeling the same way, I'd be more than happy to host a project on my GitHub and give y'all access and we can see what we can do.

Heroic Replicas posted a kickstarter for Ficsmas merch!

A post on mutability and state in Elixir. Functional yes. Immutable? Eeh..
Hello everyone, today here’s a smaller patch that hopefully has some big impact for a lot of you.
Hi Pioneers!
Hello everyone, today here’s a smaller patch that hopefully has some big impact for a lot of you, We did some optimisation improvements that we want to try out, a fix for being unable to place water extractors on the water that was fixed, and some localisation updates.
If we’re forgetting about something important or if we’ve introduced new issues, please let us know over at our QA Site: https://questions.satisfactorygame.com/ We will look into it ASAP
As always, with every new update if you’re experiencing some major issues launching the game or very unexpected behaviour, please take a look at the “Known Issues” section as this contains some very common workarounds for those issues.
See you again soon everyone <3
OPTIMISATION
- Resolved issues where signs ticked when not needed, This should improve GPU bandwidth and improve CPU performance in saves with a big quantity of Signs built
- Cleaned up major log spam that affected loading
BUG FIXES
- Fixed being unable to place Water extractors in the recently fixed Water that was previously missing, they should now work as intended
LOCALISATION
- Updated all languages with the latest translations
KNOWN ISSUES
-
A reminder for people who have been having issues with unexpected crashes on startup or weird behavior with the game, in that case please try to verify your game files.
-
You can do this on Steam by Right Clicking the game in your Library > Properties > Local Files > Verify integrity of game files...
-
And on Epic by clicking on the three dots (“...”) next to the title or at the right side, depending on your selected library view > Manage > Verify Files > Verify
-
This may or may not redownload a large amount of files which might take a while depending on your internet connection or hard drive speeds so be wary of that.
-
If you are using mods, they might need to be updated or uninstalled after updating so please keep this in mind too.
-
The first time booting the game will be very slow, but that should not continue to happen after the first boot
-
Game can hang on quit
-
There is major performance loss when running out of VRAM
-
Lights don’t behave correctly in Lumen compared to Signs
-
Factory Animation tick reductions can be slightly too aggressive
-
TSR can cause visual issues with conveyor belts, you can try using the following console command to alleviate the issues, but this will reduce AntiAliasing quality
- r.TSR.ShadingRejection.Flickering 0
-
Max FPS option is visually stuck at 0 regardless of selection, the FPS cap does still work however, so this is merely cosmetic
-
The Global Illumination option might show blank and prevent you from changing it if you were using Cinematic before it was removed in yesterday’s update, you can work around this by using the “Reset to Default” button, it should let you change the setting normally afterwards, Do note that this will reset all other Video settings to default
We’re going to try to address some of the bigger issues you’re all encountering before we leave for vacation, so for today here’s some fixes
