  • I wouldn't be so sure. That was our Beer Hall Putsch moment. It's not like they're just going to give up and do nothing.

  • Dr. Evil moment

  • Anti-white

    Anti-cis

    Oh no! Anyway...

I mean, them dropping a chunk of money for "political" stuff over software development is kind of curious, though maybe there is a good reason for it. In any case, this meme is sus as hell, and posted from a throwaway account. What are you up to, OP?

  • Not yet. That'll be in the next update, which should be happening soonish.

  • Liberals and leftists really need to arm up (and train) for when these idiots make good on their threats. We need to be able to defend ourselves and each other.

  • I’ll never tell people to go buy guns.

I will. In addition to the above shopping list, get a gun and learn how to use it. The best time to do this was back when Trump was campaigning for president in 2016 and things were starting to look a little too brownshirts. The second best time is now.

  • "Yeah, this is pretty spot-on, actually, I don't- IS THAT A FUCKING COP?!"

  • Yes, but I don't think PMs currently work between kbin and lemmy.

  • Also an anarchist. People in the US (and in most places) aren't ready for the government to collapse on them. Not in the sense that they're "not evolved enough" or anything like that, just that there's work that would need to be done that mostly hasn't been done yet.

The state is an exploitative organization, but it does perform some legitimate functions that people rely on. Anarchists have ideas on how to replace those functions, but it's ideally the sort of thing you prepare well in advance, rather than throwing together in a panic at the last minute. A slow decline would be preferable.

  • Cool cool. Ping me once you get it set up? I'm not directly involved in any FossCAD stuff, but I'm interested in seeing more firearms content in general on the threadiverse.

  • Looks like kbin blocks hackliberty. I'm assuming that at least a few others do too, due to the conspiracy theorist bent of hackliberty. In any case, midwest.social is significantly larger, and you'd have better reach there.

  • This is a software bug. Why would other normal instances not want to know about and enforce community ban lists? That just results in a poor experience for their own users.

  • US conservatives used to actively distance themselves from nazis and fascists. That was before the Tea Party, which later morphed into MAGA. When a fascist movement became their key to power, they had to stop repudiating nazis and other fascists and start running interference for them.

  • Maybe midwest.social would be a good fit? They're a US instance, so there shouldn't be any legal issues with FossCAD stuff there. They've also got a Socialist Rifle Association community already, so it seems that gun communities aren't unwelcome.

  • the word “Nazi” totally lost it’s meaning and the scope is ever increasing

    Sus.

  • The default "hot" sort order is bugged right now, so new posts without any upvotes end up buried. Upvoting your own post after making it fixes this.

And in general, yes, upvote your own posts. It's weird that they aren't automatically upvoted by default, like they are on both reddit and lemmy.

  • Holy fuck.
