TIL!
Thanks for taking the time to explain :)
To point 1. of your list, people usually have more children in worse conditions because worse conditions mean higher mortality.
I wouldn’t call them moving in and after a while realizing they are not contributing an early signal. You know what would be? Talking about it up front and coming to an agreement. Whether it be financial or otherwise.
And this has nothing to do with a relationship being transactional. In fact it’s the opposite because then the relationship will not be one person providing for two people and the other person providing a relationship in return.
So in a relationship the party that moves into the others home can decide how much they will contribute? What's the rationale here?
This seems to be about 5 years old. And look where we are. Motherfuckers ain’t listening.
If you try to solve everything you won’t solve anything. Life is just too complex.
There aren’t only solvable or unsolvable problems. You also have to consider constraints like time, money, physical and mental health and whatever else you can think of. Which becomes a murky soup of tasks.
Sometimes it’s just best to say “it is what it is” for your own mental health. I’m sure you’ve done it, you just haven’t thought or said those specific words. Otherwise you’d not be posting on lemmy, you’d be out there solving problems.
Ok, so you’ve got it all figured out huh? You earn a lot of money, are in really good shape, eat healthy self prepared food, have a good relationship with everyone around you, have everything in your home organized and tidy, have hobbies that fulfill you… and you still have enough time to post on lemmy.
All by the power of never giving in to “it is what it is” but instead carefully dissecting and solving everything in your waking life.
Props my man, what shall we call you? Captain Solveitall? Supersolver? Something else?
Or attach it to the underside of the wooden board above.
Otherwise great job OP, looks really clean.
Who’s gonna set up the tent and put on a fire? That’s a job for peasants! /s
I know, I was just letting people know that this guys solution comes with downsides.
AFAIK this will only get you 720p to 1080p depending on the streaming service. No 4K, no HDR.
Happy to hear he’ll work on the next Dune. Sad that it means he’s not working on another Blade Runner installment.
Can you build computer parts from scratch?
Do you want some eggs? I got news for you! You can literally build a chicken shed right now, no need to wait for farmers.
Seriously, the same captain obvious answer all the time when a Steam console is mentioned. It’s infuriating. Consoles exist for a reason, to provide a ready and verified environment for playing games without any fiddling.
Tell me you are underpaying your employees without telling me you are underpaying your employees.
Oh, thought you meant the canvas itself, which is vanilla. But yeah, I can see your point now that they have other plugins installed.
No extensions. It’s a core feature.
I want to add to the other comment but also for you to be notified. You may have to enable the Canvas feature in the settings menu before you can use it.
You can install DNS content blockers (like NextDNS) on Apple TV which will take care of a good chunk of ads and privacy violations. This also works if you install a VPN App that has those options.
Not sure what you would install on a shield that would be much more effective. Maybe you could explain.
I have a second bank account with a credit card for daily spending and online purchases. It only has a certain amount of money I expect to need for the month. If I need to make bigger purchases I’ll have to transfer the funds to it first.
Also things like Apple/Google/Amazon Pay hide CC info so you could use those instead when they are available.
