Arrowhead is at fault for the Helldivers situation, and only Sony can save them.
  • I can see where you're coming from but you have to understand:

    • arrowhead never wanted Sony integration. Publishers always do this and force devs to add services to games that don't need it.
    • arrowhead had to disable it for people to be able to play the game due to the server issues.
    • arrowhead is not responsible for the distribution of the game. Sony handles the publishing, including which regions the game is available in. Arrowhead didn't choose to sell the game in regions without PSN support.
    • the developers were and still are under immense pressure for something nobody wanted but Sony execs. The attitude and franticness at the studio would have been intense and confusing. I know this because I work in a game studio, that has a publisher, and I've had to implement this kind of stuff in our games and I can guarantee that most of the choices and sensibility are well out of the studio's control.
  • Mmmm Chicker Nugger
  • For a good portion of my life I couldn't stand mushrooms. One day I suddenly just started craving them and now it's one of my favourite foods. Weirdly enough I believe divinity original sin 2 is partly responsible for it.

  • Mmmm Chicker Nugger
  • I also don't get the hyper fixation, I don't care if it tastes like beef I just want it to taste good, but honestly they taste good either way. I think they'd sell more if they did not market as meat replacements.

  • Game devs praise Steam as a 'democratic platform' that 'continues to be transformative' for PC gaming today
  • No need to use the app at all. The games on there are drm free. Run the game any way you want. That said, I like gog galaxy cos it keeps all the games I own on every platform together, and I use the search function to find the game I want and hit play. Or just hit view all and browse.

  • What tips do you have for training your dog?
  • Professional puppy training is really good, especially if you have a nervous dog, as a lot of conventional dog advice doesn't always work perfectly for a nervous dog.

On a similar note, learn and respect your dog's limits. Dogs, like people, come in a huge range of personalities and so there are some things that your dog just will never be comfortable doing, ranging from tolerating children to doing agility and so on.

Oh and avoid elite dog training social media. It seems tempting because they show off all their impressive dogs, but it's full of extremely opinionated, unreasonable, judgemental people that believe their way is the only way, a select few going as far as telling people to basically put down their dogs if their method doesn't work... It's a toxic community, don't subject yourself (or your pup) to that stuff.
