You can configure your default sort in your account settings. I have mine on New Comments.
It does not, people use New comments. We just interacted in a post that was 9 days old
as similar instances with similar moderation policies have to be found by each other …

Currently with a T480s. I don't really use it much, I'm on my desktop most of the time, but it does the job.
I personally have an alt for news that I check once every few days. Being able to block Trump and Musk all of the time is quite nice.

For me it's with my gf's parents. When I was a teenager, I would usually try to get their approval, so they wouldn't think their daughter is dating a "bad person", whatever that means.
Nowadays, I have my job, we have our flat, we live our own lives. Of course I'm respectful, and try to be nice to them, but I can also raise boundaries if needed.
