They do have first class. But the on board restaurant (if there is one) is accessable for all, not only 1st class travelers.

We paid a tiny bit more on a german train for dinner, fresh fish iirc and it was delicious, served by a waiter, god the railways in the uk are shit.

I'm all for fucking over US businesses, but this sub is becoming a bit mastabatory.
That's a weird looking Spanish omelette, made in the tiniest train kitchen by a chef who usually checks your tickets.
Let's not pat ourselves too hard on the back here.
