I've been using everything you mentioned for months and my videos still get in the algorithms, and my comments can be seen.
ok but I like the iPad. Great hardware
you can't steal media, it's still there but just copied over.
wait, what? is Google actually a paid service now or is this a meme./?
the thing is it was running perfectly fine with 40+ addons, I guess it has smth to do with my new gpu? I'm outside rn I'll try the things the people recommend
unfortunately youtube isn't the only culprit. Firefox just seems laggy in general, the affect is multiplied in youtube and indivious doesn't 1080p or 60 fps :/
recently upgraded to an rx 6600 on a ryzen 5 5600 also 16 gigs of mem. here are the addons: the video res is 1080p
I have about 25 extensions (almost all needed) and firefox lags like crazy, it's like I'm watching the videos at 10 fps. I download chrome to test it out and sure enough it runs as smooth as butter. Any help?
EDIT: It somehow fixed itself after I started using LibreWolf (with the same addons)
that's what I do on my work pc, but I do have a community there and they won't really be moving to other instances so no luck there 😭
is this that japanese one?
yes it is. I was going to sign up but I forgot, will do now
life saver bro. and I can't, all my artists live in Twitter I need my lesbian anime girls 😭😭😭
I wanna add some extra stuff without having to type the whole link.
he has children? only kid I know is that one kid that was named A X 010 or smth
the thing you said makes sense because the rips can't be seen in an obs recording
It seems my comment didn't send but I plugged the HDMI cable to another port on the monitor and it got rid of the big glitches, however a small portion of them still remains. My GPU seems to be connected correctly as well and these glitches are not present in Windows. I'm updating the OS as we speak I'll see if anything changes
one more thing, for some reason after I installed the GPU it does this glitch thing yes. I tried rebooting
yes it’s installed, also is there a program I can use to configure? Something like NVIDIA control panel but for AMD
I've already made a post about this, I made the switch from an Nvidia GPU to an AMD one and I was wondering if I needed to install anything extra. I've heard the drivers are included inside the kernel but how do I ensure that it's installed?
I want to degoogle and this is one of the last steps. The free versions of other services provide too little storage so I was wondering if I can make a cloud using my raspberry pi
so my old GPU died a few days ago and I was thinking which brand of GPU to get next. AMD or Nvidia? I've heard Nvidia drivers are very annoying with Linux but I've never had an AMD GPU before. Which would be better? I'll sometimee switch to Windows to play specific games as well.
yes, I've tried restarting audio systems, I tried rebooting. It didn't work.
Download Lemmy Karma Calculator for Firefox. Displays a user's Lemmy score (aka. karma) in their profile (eg. https://lemmy.ml/u/Yoru). Requires you to be logged in.
source code is availabe here. I'd appreciate feedbacks!
On my lemmy.ml instance, most of the comments on my posts get hidden. I can see them from my notifications but not the actual posts. However I can perfectly see all of them on other instances like lemmy.world. Is this normal?
I want to get into Arch Linux, but I don't have that much experience and I feel like it'll be easier to set it up in a virtual machine rathen than dual booting, I've used Oracle VirtualBox before but it's very laggy. Are there any other VMs that aren't as laggy, or do I just have a hardware issue?
so Android is mostly developed by google so I assume it also sends a lot of data over to google. Is there an OS that's privacy respecting?
I don't know if this only happens but most of the long reply I get, or see on other posts, are hidden. I can only view these in the inbox section, and no, it's not my VPN I tried it without too and got the same results. Also on my own posts I simply cannot see any of the parent commwnts (happens on this post as well)
I saw from a post that you can basically host your own mini windows inside of linux to play games with, and you can choose what to share with that little windows so microsoft can't track you in any way. Does anyone have a tutorual/guide for that? Also what Distro would be best for it?
