Do you think an electric car that weighs 1000lbs more than similar ICE cars is doing that much more damage to the road? And compare the damage cars, suvs, etc, would do versus box trucks, tractor-trailers, etc. There is no comparison to the damages between the two classes of vehicles. While true, an SUV will do more damage to the road than an econobox hatchback, even combined they don't equal the damage a fully loaded tractor-trailer will do.

Very few, if any, modifications are going to dramatically change a vehicle's curb weight. Of course, electrics weigh more than similar ICEs, so a better reason to skip a weight based tax is so as to not disincentivize electrics.

Edit: Also, what do you mean "rice burners"? Afaik, rice burner refers to any vehicle of Asian origin whether tuned or not. And trust me, tuning a car is not going to increase the curb weight by more than a few pounds.

You realize that electrics are heavier than similar sized and shaped gas vehicles, right? So this would be an incentive to keep buying gas cars.

Playing hard to get is a big fucking red flag. It shows a lack of maturity and a lack of truthfulness. It also shows a willingness to be deceitful to your partner.

I'm sorry, have you actually read or watched anything about them? They are not part of "the resistance", they actively promoted the system. Batman doesn't fight the government except when it crosses into criminal activity(ex. Amanda Waller). Iron Man(note that his name is two words), also sides with the government to maintain a stable society based on agreed upon laws.

Nah, they do win fair and square when it's rural. Their problem is that the population of rural America is dwindling fast. Most rural kids don't want to stay in the sticks. For starters there's just really no decent jobs there.

If you look at the all the elections of the last 28 years, men, especially white men, have strongly leaned Republican. If you look at 2020 and 2016 the only racial group that voted overwhelmingly for Trump have been white men. The only time men have not had a >1 point support of the Republican candidate were in 2008 and 1996. In 2008, Obama eked out a 1 point lead over McCain while in 1996 Bill Clinton was in the same spot versus Bob Dole, only one point behind.

This isn't the bad thing it sounds like folks. He led Biden by 5 and Clinton by 8 points in the male vote, on average. Having a lead that could be wiped out by the margin of error is nothing. It shows Harris is an even bigger threat than Biden or Clinton were.
