    On a somewhat related tangent, aftermarket support for Onewheels has finally overtaken the VC funded walled garden that is Future Motions business strategy. Enough that the company is finally reacting to community wants after a decade of requests falling on deaf ears.

    The diy scene has always been there, but it's now reached a point where things are largely plug and play, and a board can be build from scratch if you're comfortable building a pc. There's aftermarket parts for every piece of the board.

    Open source. Battery is easily replaced, it's an 18650. Packed with features and since it's gone open source the updates have really ramped up.

    You know it's getting good updates when there's 45 minute videos scratching the surface of what's new in the beta.

    Let us donate material to add bonuses to squad impact. Or receive buffs or something.

    For instance you could have a set amount required to add SEAF support to a planet, or an extra stratagem. This would even let players bank defense on inactive planets.
