That's why no Ukrainian man wants to get conscripted and sent to the front: it's a literal death sentence.

The coup-plotting former Army Commander Juan Jose Zuniga had just been dismissed yesterday for wanting to arrest former President Evo Morales (the target of the 2019 coup) and release the 2019 coup plotters from prison so that they could seize power again. President Luis Arce replaced Zuniga with Jose Wilson Sanchez, who ordered all troops to leave La Paz’s central Plaza Murillo square. Thankfully, Zuniga has been arrested and the coup attempt defeated.

Let's not forget that the US government's so-called "National Endowment for Democracy" had funneled tons of money into Bolivia to overthrow the government in the 2010s, in the lead up to the 2019 coup. The Bolivian people defeated that coup regime in 2020 and returned the Movement Toward Socialism party to power in the elections that year. Bolivia posses large quantities of lithium (which is an element critical for producing the batteries that power electric cars), making it a target for endless US imperialist meddling (just like Venezuela is a target, because of its oil wealth).

Exactly! That is who most of the so-called "volunteers" actually are. And there are certain US-supplied weapons systems that Ukrainian conscripts have zero ability to operate in the first place (like Patriots and probably even HIMARS launchers). So when Russian forces blow them up (which they do), we can be fairly certain that US (or other NATO) "contractors" are getting killed (which they are).

Their ultra-corrupt political machine tries every dirty trick to prevent left opposition candidates from even being allowed a ballot line so that voters can actually vote for them. The best response is either to vote for a 'third party' presidential candidate or boycott the elections altogether.
