Not sure, but maybe 'Shikimori is not just a cutie'?
Pretty sure there are English JJK blurays. At least in the UK region. Can't imagine there not being one for the NA region.
Edit: CR store has S1 and the movie https://store.crunchyroll.com/collections/jujutsu-kaisen/?prefn1=category&prefv1=Home Entertainment
S2 will most likely come out too, but not yet
Yeah, companies should do regionally based pricing adjusting for the local economic situation instead of basing their prices off western standards. As you said, 10 bucks is a lot for a lot of countries.
Years is obviously not good, but I do think we should be wary of wanting it to be as quick as possible if we don't want publishers to resort to machine translation (also known as A.I.).
I'm personally not too bothered by what you're describing. They can't always pick up everything when it gets published, so it makes sense to be behind. I'd pirate it at first too (for manga anyway), but once it comes out I buy it and reread it.
About time he used Kurumi's power. I did wonder multiple times throughout this arc why he didn't.
Despair doesn't suite you
Hmm, I wonder who's causing said despair.
That was... a bad episode. Very rushed and lots of missing information. Elza is suddenly helping her husband's and village's killer? Why was Oscar so willing to listen to the Itos duel request anyway? They could've easily wiped them out then and there and be done with it. The whole god thing was random too, despite it apparently being a god that Tinasha has wanted to kill for ages. Completely unestablished. Pretty weak god too it seems.
For manga: if they provide a good way to read it in (human) English without region locking, there's no real problem. Something like MangaPlus works decently well for chapter releases. Something like MangaUp sucks ass. I buy volumes and am subscribed to MangaPlus. Most of what I pirate isn't even available in English.
For anime: stop with the idiotic exclusives and region locking, so there can be more services. CR needs to suck less and HIDIVE needs to open up their service to the rest of the world again. It's hypocritical to complain about piracy when you never intended to sell it here anyway. No money is lost. Similar to manga, I buy Blurays (that work with my player) and am subscribed to CR (unwillingly, RIP Wakanim) and Netflix. I pirate what's not available to me.
Will it solve everything? No, but it will for the majority
You mean the one in the train? It was fine. It's not as if I didn't enjoy GW, just not that much.
Wandering Witch
I didn't make it that far for this one. I put it On Hold but never continued. Not sure which ep it was, but Elaina was oddly cold and distant when stuff happened after she started travelling and I felt like that really didn't fit her character thus far. It was quite jarring for me.
I finally finished JoJo Golden Wind. Honestly, it's by far my least favourite. The characters are unbelievably stupid (much more so than the previous parts), Sex Pistols is an incredibly irritating stand despite how often it's used and the story just felt like a weaker version of Stardust Crusaders. They also didn't really do anything with the unique origins of Giorno, which felt like a waste. I still enjoyed it, but it's a 6-6.5 at best. Even below Part 1 imo.
I now started with Stone Ocean and am already enjoying it a lot more. A female MC is refreshing and the story (so far) is interesting too.
Kano's mother seems to start getting involved now. Interesting
Oof. It was clearly building up to this, but it still hit pretty hard. The big surprise was Kanade not making it though. Definitely didn't expect that
What does restoration mean here? It doesn't just look like a rescan
On Youtube? Interesting
Doesn't a 25th anniversary generally mean more than a 40th? Or is it different in Japan?
Again, not that much happened. More than last ep, but still not much in terms of actual progression. Just more 'dead' spirits. Though I don't think they're actually dead, since Nia wasn't either when this happened to her.
Why did Mio only interfere after Shido beat Westcott? She already defeated the other Spirits and can instantly teleport it seems, so why wait? To show off Shido's lame ass kamehame ripoff (which AFAIK, is quite an asspull)? Why did Westcott have to retell what we saw in flashbacks last episode? That's dumb and a waste of time. Also, this may be just me misremembering, but where were Miku and Natsumi again the entire time? I've not seen them the entire battle.
To those who have read the LN: is it as poorly executed as here?
It's a hell of a lot worse than the headline lets on.
Damn, it sure is
Damn, fuck this guy. Betraying his wife, misusing your power as a celebrity, abuse and coercion. Hope karma hits him hard
I understand the sentiment, but this is a bit extreme. Not to defend a mega corporation, but McDonald's in Israel is its own franchise, making it so they're able to their own thing. McDonalds in the Arab world spoke out against it too, so it's not as if the entirety of McDonald's is the same. Now McDonald's HQ bought up the Israelian franchise, likely to avoid stuff like this again.
And then to force the boycott on others for eating McDonald's and being angry at them... Doesn't make much sense and doesn't help anyone, let alone the Palestinians
Tbf, Enek is a sheep dog who's supposed to keep 'her kind' (wolves) away. Holo being vigilant of it and vice versa probably makes sense
Anita, a lonely assassin, found herself staring the Grim Reaper in the face. But if she can fend him off for four minutes, she will be spared death, this time.
