a cool guide for police encounters
  • What are you even talking about? There is lots different about USA and Canada, but in terms of the things listed in the original image I don't see any differences.

Edit: After looking it over again, yep...literally everything on the card is good and valid advice for Canadians. None of it has anything to do with any constitution at all lol.

  • You can fit two cars there
  • Thank you! Makes sense. I think I was sort of misreading your statement initially. And I guess I never really thought about the 350s and aboves useful applications (or lack thereof lol).

I'll add my Honda Element did surprisingly well for many 1000s of km of rough logging roads once upon a time.

  • You can fit two cars there
  • There's no good reason for these pieces of shit to exist.

So did you start taking an old civic to the in-the-bush job site then or what?

Edit: Or a midsize pickup or SUV or something? Helicopter? The down votes here are pretty absurd lol. I'm trying to figure out what vehicle to take to in-the-bush job sites in the future that can better handle the conditions, which the person I replied to specifically pointed out.

  • This isn't my first choice
  • Naw, they don't get emotional about work. It's simply a place they choose to go in exchange for money. I'd worry a lot more about the gossipers and drama people. The people who frame their social life around work....those people scare me.

  • Oral ketamine tablets effective for treating depression, new study finds
  • Okay, but didn't that happen in an environment where ket was not legally available for people who may be able to benefit from it? Like...that shit already happens. And yeah it sucks.

Do you not feel he would have benefited from it being legal when he attempted to seek treatment? Might he have had less motivation to steal and suck his landlords dick if the illegal market didn't make the drugs so cost prohibitive?

    Everything old is new again.
  • $900 a month is quite affordable compared to hiring a private chef. It's all relative.

I'm cheap af, but that doesn't make me 'right'. If I made $1000/h or something it would make complete sense to pay $30 for a $10 meal each day if it saved me even just 15 minutes of effort that could be put towards working instead. In that case, I'd argue it would be 'wrong' and wasteful economically not to use the service.
