  • I seriously doubt Trump actually picked his SC nominees. Some aid probably presented him with a list of three names and he picked the coolest sounding ones. They are Federalist Society judges, not MAGA republicans. They don’t give a shit about protecting Trump (except maybe the one with a huge conflict of interest)

  • Republicans always support a new war. These “aid” packages come in the form of weapons. These weapons come from republican donors. They start with supporting the new war and work their way back to why. Remember when Trump was trying to make an Iran war happen? I’m sure there are some nutcases who believe that this will start the end times, but really this is Fox News selling the idea of war.

I don’t think it is as much loving Jews as it is hating Muslims.

  • What? There was no polio vaccine patent. The inventor literally did exactly what I suggested. He made his work freely available so that it could not be patented. Volvo made a business decision to make their patent freely usable and we are still talking about it. Their brand has been permanently associated with safety because of it.

  • Once again, this is not true. They do what is called a prior art search as part of issuing a patent. They look worldwide for anything that could be considered your invention before your filing date before issuing a patent. Even after a patent is issued, if prior art is presented to the patent office they can rescind the patent. It’s a form and like $100. You don’t need a lawyer to bring prior art to the patent office’s attention. The legal battle will be between the patent office and the patent troll if they are trying to contest the prior art.

  • That’s literally not a thing. Once something is publicly disclosed it can’t be patented (unless it is by the discloser during the one year grace period). You can’t take someone else’s invention and patent it. If someone does you can invalidate their patent without even a lawyer. If you want something you invent to be free for everyone the best thing you can do is get it out into the world and not patent it.

  • There’s so many. Oreo changed their cream filling and you can see they only fill the rows by like 2/3 now Ebay (I honestly don’t know anyone who hasn’t had problems on the platform how are they still in business?) When I was a teen, my manager at dominoes fired me after I caught him stealing my tips. I wont even eat free dominoes

  • That’s not the issue being debated. It’s not the delivery company refusing to deliver to a specific company, it’s the employees. The delivery company is arguing that they cannot compel the union and it’s not their business. They are saying that this is between Tesla and their employee’s union. Tesla is arguing that the delivery company must compel them.

  • The person you’re replying too doesn’t know what they are talking about. Once you start moving around several thousands of dollars (10k?) they will always ask you so they can document it and report it to the IRS/FBI if necessary. In my experience, once you move around enough money to have to go to a banker’s desk verses a teller window they will want to know what’s going on.

  • I don’t get that at all. Elden Ring was already painfully long. If you tried to do everything you ended up super OP. It became an absolute slug to get through. It was super repetitive. I can’t imagine anything they could add with a DLC that could improve that. I don’t get the hype for the DLC.

  • Every dealership in my area has their markup at least the amount of the tax credit. More than a few have exactly the tax credit. Tax credits are supposed to help steer the market, they’re not a handout to pointless middleman.

  • What do you mean? There’s like 10,000 (?) years of history between replicant and automata. There’s so much that could happen. They could lean hard into the cyclic timeline theme and have literally the same story set up as automata just have it play out completely differently. Maybe an origin story for the machine lifeforms. I don’t think a direct sequel will ever happen but there’s a lot in the nier universe to explore.

  • Isn’t what specific classified documents irrelevant to the charges? The question is whether or not trump retained classified documents after leaving the presidency. Unless the defense is going to argue that in the documents kept, none of it was actually classified, this is a dead end. Why should they get months to review trumps stockpile? It makes sense for the prosecutor to review the documents and select specific ones to establish him violating the espionage act. What would the defense expect to submit from the pile? Literally the entire pile of documents only serve to prove their clients guilt.
